Farm Visit

I was very much looking forward to going to a pumpkin patch this year. I have not been to a real pumpkin patch in years. Parky's Farm is not quite what I was expecting, but it was so much fun for Sophia.
Like the name says - it is a farm...but more for educational purposes. There are small beds and gardens in one section of the property, animals in another area, and indoor and outdoor play areas.

Sophia had her first wagon ride. There were TONS of preschoolers so we opted for the less crowded wagon ride instead of the hayride. Sophia didn't know the difference - she loved riding on the "choo choo".
Sophia picked out her pumpkin - the best of the bunch - and it really was her choice.
Before leaving we stopped to look at some animals and pet some goats (and a chicken).
I just wish we had more time to explore the farm. Dave had to work and we thought we were going to just pick a pumpkin. Maybe we will find time for pumpkins this weekend.
