Another day, another playground

Sophia hit a new milestone today. She went down a slide on her own!

I caught her 50th time down on video for posterity (blogger doesn't want to upload it properly, sorry!). She also went down a larger slide on her own, but I was afraid she was going to fall off where the slide changed directions. I did manage a very sunny picture of her at the top.

There was a two and a half year old that Sophia was following around. After Sophia saw him on the swings, she wanted to try those out as well. I was happy for some much needed adult conversation with the little boy's momma.

After almost an hour on the playground we went for a little stroll on a walking trail. Sophia had fun crunching on the fallen leaves and trying to jump on my shadow.

We made a quick stop at the store to get sour cream for baked potato soup. Unfortunately the sour cream was frozen! The soup was good, but missing something (aside from being topped with sour cream). Sophia must have enjoyed it - she ate three servings!
