Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Sophia has little desire to play in the snow - she hates getting snow on her gloves, shoes, or clothes. She is a huge fan of walking in the snow though. We normally walk down to the end of our block, cross the street, and then come back up. Not very far, but long enough that we are chilly when we get back.

Hot chocolate with marshmallows is our preferred way to warm up from the winter weather.

I tried timing our walks with the little snow squalls we had, but by the time we were ready to head out, the snow was back to flurries and small flakes. Such is the life of having a toddler I suppose.

We took a few pictures with the self-timer on the camera. I can usually get her best smiles when the timer is set. She thinks it is a game when we run to our position and say cheese while the camera beeps.
