Fourteen Weeks

Ha! Love this face!

I know I have said it on numerous occasions, but time is flying by! This is my last week with students. I just hope the summer goes by at a very slow pace.

Quick recap this week.


Almost looks like she is blowing a kiss!

Lorena continues to take amazing care of Sophia while Dave and I are at work. I am so thankful for her!

She loves to pop her hand out of her swaddle and have it near her face.

 Sophia is going through a growth spurt. Thankfully her ferocious eating only occurs during the day. She has woken up a few evenings for a middle of the night snack, but I am very greatful that we are both getting continuous sleep at night.

Hiccups have returned - multiple times a day. Drooling is ramped up. Wondering if we will have some teeth soon.

The big moment of the week was rolling over from her back to her tummy. I knew she was close to rolling over, but I was still in awe when it happened. I woke Dave up just to tell him the good news. I thought it was a fluke, but she was showing off her rolling over skills at Lorena's too.

She also has decided that being propped up on the couch or pillows is over. Every time we sit her upright, she leans forward.
