my little observant one.
her eyes say so much.

learning new things everyday.
so proud of herself for conquering a fear and climbing higher than she has before.

those lips and cheeks.
it is bittersweet watching her grow and change.
not a baby anymore.

telling tales at the dining room table.
she is so animated and tells the most dramatic and animated stories.

Always so interested in what is happening around her.
Perched on the couch reading a magazine and watching sister play.

Helping Daddy prepare appetizers.
She was quite fascinated with the little potato cups and how the filling stayed inside.

this girl.
she is so aware of when I pick up the camera, and usually makes a funny face or closes her eyes.
it is getting harder to catch her in the moment.

These pictures sum up our week pretty well...pajamas all day...staying warm inside...avoiding the winter weather. Is it spring yet?

Emma is fascinated with the camera. Hard to capture an image of her being still.

Sophia loves her weekly gym class.
This week she was able to show off all of her new skills for us and she had a silly grin on her face almost the whole time.

Wet weather kept us indoors a lot this week, which meant a lot of afternoon dance parties.

Taking a break after twirling.

One day this little bit will have teeth.
Carrots are a favorite to gnaw on.

The 52 Project: 2016 Edition

I am disappointed that I didn't complete The 52 Project last year. I plan on going back through my pictures, but I am excited for a fresh start.

Life lately. Pajamas, unkempt hair, imagination.

Sweet slumber. Bunny silk clutched in hand.
