Remember Me?

So much has been happening that this blog has been absolutely neglected. Between having a very busy little lady, leading a classroom of very active gentlemen, and everything else that is happening in our lives - the blog took a backseat. But now it is summer and changes are happening and I might actually have some time to stay updated (maybe).

Our BIG news is that we are relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio. Dave will be the executive chef at a brand new restaurant. It is an amazing opportunity for him and great for our family. We just got back from a very busy trip to Cincinnati where we took a whirlwind tour of the city and the few rental properties that are available. Having big dogs limited the options we had for housing, but we found an old house with lots of charm that will be home beginning August 1st. I can't wait to share pictures of all of the character the house has.

We will be moving into temporary housing until we can move into the rental property, but luckily the company will be covering that cost for us. Our home here in Charlotte will hopefully be rented soon. For numerous reasons we can't sell right now, but we found a great property manager so as soon as we have a tenant I think it will work out just fine.

I am just looking forward to being able to *breathe* once we are settled.
